Savannah’s location offers easy access to many location attractions. Tybee Island, formerly known as “Savannah Beach”, is the location of the famous “Tybee Island Light Station”, the first lighthouse on the southern Atlantic coast. Also near Savannah you will find the village of Thunderbolt, a shrimping village, and other resorts areas such as Beaulieu, Vernonburg, Savannahians and the Isle of Hope.

Created in the 1840s, Forsyth park sits on 30 acres in Savannah. The park is home of a massive fountain on the north end reminiscent of fountains in the Place de la Concorde in Paris and in Cuzco, Peru. In the middle of the park, you will find a historic confederate memorial commemorating those who gave their lives fighting for the Confederacy in the civil war.
